People always said "Oh you're so good at everything how do you do all this" to me all the time, meanwhile there was little me, a robotic, non-breathing, brain dead body being operated on the will of the world. I never took the comments to be of any significance because robot me knew what praise can do to my ego, but I can't live soullessly in a world meant for lives. Of course, someone could be diagnosing me with all sorts of mental conditions and trauma, but that comes after the fact that I gave my own will to exist as a humane human, capable of emoting and loving, for what society wanted me to be, a fleshy mecha. I've thought of it for long how I have substituted my reality with the assumed perfect reality, and it pains me to simply think that I get repeatedly sucked into the dark void of emotionlessness that school work forces me to unwillingly take up, for the sake of being able to serve the master, this wretched system, with less assumed pain, but unknowingly causing much more harm to my soul and heart. I've learnt about my character much more deeply in the past 4 years (so since 7th grade) and I know what sort of a free spirit I want to be. Now that I am reaching my breaking point so frequently, I suppose 11th grader me must start creating her own true self.

Yes, there is a ton of maintenance when it comes to owning a house. You have to pay mortgage, trash, water, gas, electricity, internet, shovel snow on your walkway, mow the lawn, fix anything that goes wrong with plumbing or any appliances and make sure you have insurance. Honestly, it's not very worth it if you're not making enough money to pay for all of that. That's why I wouldn't recommend owning a house unless you have a big family moving into it, because you're definitely going to need some help.

Your hourly wage calculation is off. If you made $50k per year, you would need to work over 120 hrs per week to make only $8/hr. If you made $60k/year, you would need to work almost 145 hrs a week to make only $8/hr. That’s with no vacation weeks.

I been saying this before any famous person has. I hear people telling me all the time my goal should be to buy a house and to buy a car and to make a bank account so i can "live right and without any worries". What they dont understand is that none of that will actually make life better all it will do is cost you way more then you need to be spending until youre eventually in debt. But i actually like renting (well most times anyway). And im not rich. As for everyone complaining about money and maintainance. It really does truly depend on your area of livings payrate, your own money management skill and more over the property owners. Some actually care about there rentees and properties and do what they should to keep up with things in the correct fashion of them, while others dont care and refuse to do as they should.

All through elementary/middle school I was at or near the top of the class, although I would say maybe middle of the road among my fellow "gifted" students. In high school, especially in my junior and senior years, I had several C grades, and at times my report cards showed a D or F that would be pulled back up to anywhere between C and A in the last few weeks of the semester due to turning in unfinished (or even finished but not perfect) homework. I finished high school with a 3.4 GPA. My first semester of college, I crashed and burned - partly due to a lack of study skills and homework completion, partly due to plummeting mental health because of various factors - and I finished the semester with a 0.76 GPA.
